Grupo Antolin is continuing to consolidate its position as one of the world’s largest supplier of automobile interiors.
The company’s sales reached 5,037 million euros in 2017, compared to 4,982 million in 2016.
Ebitda reached 466 million in 2017 (vs. 462 million in 2016), and ebit stood at 291 million. The figures doesn’t include the Seating Business Unit, after being sold on April 28th 2017.
The results were affected by the relevant investments planned to launch new projects and the negative effects of currency fluctuations. At constant currency, sales rose by 3.2% and ebitda increased by 3.7%.
Grupo Antolin maintained its profitability levels in an environment characterised by the price pressure from carmakers and the increase in raw materials costs.
The company recorded an attributable net profit of 242 million euros last year, compared to the 177 million of the previous year. This increase was primarily attributable to the divestiture of the Seating Business Unit.
