Grupo Antolin partners the VIII Centenary Foundation of the Cathedral of Burgos
The agreement has been signed this morning between Ernesto Antolin, Chairman of Grupo Antolin, and Fidel Herraez, president of VIII Centenary Foundation of the Cathedral Burgos 2021. The event was attended by Javier Lacalle, mayor of Burgos; Cesar Rico, president of the Diputación Provincial of Burgos; Juan Álvarez Quevedo, vicepresident of the Chapter of the Cathedral of Burgos; and Antonio Miguel Méndez Pozo, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Burgos and vicepresident of VIII Centenary Foundation.
The agreement will help carry out the various activities of the VIII Centenary, which will include exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, congresses, seminars and audiovisual shows.

The VIII Centenary has been declared an event of Exceptional Interest by the Spanish government. The commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the laying of the first stone of the Burgos’s Cathedral, which will be celebrated on July 20th 2021, has generated huge interest, pride and excitement among all of Burgos’ inhabitants. “The Cathedral is, without doubt, the great cultural, social, artistic and historical reference of the city. The great symbol of our city. The cathedral has helped convert Burgos into a modern, innovative city, open to everyone and recognized throughout the world”, noted Ernesto Antolin.
