Grupo Antolin will collaborate with Unicef in the campaing ‘A name, a life’
More than 1,900 children of the 28,000 employees of Grupo Antolin around the world participated in the A drawing=A smile initiative, which celebrated its 24rd edition. The children made their drawings about the company, the automotive industry and Grupo Antolin’s Vision and Values.
As part of this competition, Grupo Antolin will donate 12,500 euros to Unicef for the purchase of 70 kits for early childhood development. This initiative can benefit 3,500 children under the age of three living in emergency situations. The aim is to provide a range of activities that promote games, learning, development and social adaptation of the children.
The Children's Contest and the collaboration with Unicef are part of the initiatives launched by Grupo Antolin within its sustainability strategy. As part of the Sustainability Master Plan, the company aims to contribute to the social and economic development of the countries in which it operates and to achieve the employees commitment to the company's sustainable objectives.
In total, 626 children from America, 567 from Western Europe, 537 from Africa-Asia Pacific, and 170 from Eastern Europe participated in Christmas Card Drawing Competition.
The prize-giving ceremony was held on December 14 in the assembly hall of the head office of the company in Burgos. Javier Blanco, Corporate Director of Human Resources for Grupo Antolin, was responsible for welcoming everyone. Pilar Arribas, shareholder of Grupo Antolin; Ernesto Antolin, chairman of Grupo Antolin, and Jesus Pascual, chief executive officer of Grupo Antolin, handed out the prizes. Julián Martínez, president of the Burgos Food Bank, also participated in the event. The managers wanted to thank the collaboration of the children with the collection of food.
