  • eBú is a sustainable fabric that is obtained from the extraction of high quality natural raw materials.
  • Thanks to the EPD certificate, the company guarantees that both the fabric and its manufacturing process are completely environmentally friendly.

Grupo Antolin has improved the sustainability of eBú, its natural bamboo fabric, as part of its commitment to develop more sustainable and environmentally friendly components within its innovation strategy. The fabric has obtained the EPD ecolabel (Environmental Product Declaration). As the new EPD ecolabel certifies, the eBú is the first and only bamboo fibre fabric on the market that ensures environmental sustainability throughout the production cycle.

Based on the international standard UNE-EN ISO 14025, the EPD certificate provides transparent, verified and comparable information on the environmental impact of the product lifecycle. Today, it is the most widely used and internationally recognized industrial eco-labelling system. In this way, Grupo Antolin guarantees that both the fabric and its manufacturing process are totally environmentally friendly

The eBú is a 100 percent natural product that is obtained from the extraction of high quality raw materials and thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. The result is a robust product with good qualities both technically and finishing.

With eBú, Grupo Antolin responds to the vehicle manufacturers' request to introduce totally natural fabrics in the interior as an alternative to synthetic origin ones, also providing a fresh and silky touch. In response to this demand, Grupo Antolin has long been researching the development of surfaces of the highest quality and made with 100 percent natural materials. The aim is to contribute to sustainable mobility and a circular economy that is more necessary than ever. The eBú is already being marketed for use in the production of car’s interior trim parts.

From an ecological point of view, the bamboo plant grows and reproduces at high speed, and does not need fertilizers, special care or pesticides. In addition, it does not require large amounts of water as other types of crops.

Thanks to innovation, Grupo Antolin is working to become a reference company for its respect for the environment, as well as for its contribution in the fight against climate change and the transition towards a low-carbon economy,
